The Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group on Friday, 10 August once again went all out in celebrating outstanding employees at its annual 14th O&L Value Star Award ceremony. This annual occasion celebrates employees’ contribution to the O&L purpose and values and recognizes those individuals that stood out throughout the year. Held at the Windhoek Country Club Resort & Casino with the theme ‘African Fashion’, overall winners were awarded with an all-expenses-paid edutain trip later this year.
The 2018 Value Star Award ceremony (celebrating outstanding employees over the period July 2017 to June 2018) saw individuals from the various operating companies under the O&L Group being rewarded for their hard work, commitment and efforts to their respective operating companies within the Group.
The overall winners of the O&L 2018 Value Star Awards are: Ezekiel Shikaneta (Dimension Data); Candice Dunaiski (Broll Namibia); Lamek Nangolo (Hangana Seafood); Bernard van Wyk (Kraatz); Nico Gericke (Namibia Breweries Limited); Marchellow van Wyk (Namibia Dairies); Stefanus Annandale (O&L Centre); Alpha Mubake (O&Leisure), and Salmi Shigwedha (Pick n Pay).
Candice Dunaiski: “I am still overwhelmed by the announcement as an overall Value Star. It still feels unreal, and I am extremely thankful! This recognition simply inspires and motivates me to continue to always go the extra mile.”
Nico Gericke: “I was not expecting to be crowned overall Value Star and was quite blown away, but a real sense of achievement overwhelmed me. It truly means a lot to be selected as the overall Value Star for NBL. Getting acknowledged for one’s hard work in such a massive company is a huge honour and something that I truly treasure.”
