FIRST RAND NAMIBIA FOUNDATION DONATES N$189 600 TO HOPE VILLAGE

The FirstRand Namibia Foundation Trust handed over an amount of N$ 189 600 towards the monthly expenses for the 95 children at Hope Village for the next year.

The FirstRand Namibia Foundation Trust assisted the Hope Village and their project Helping Hands that provides shelter and food for vulnerable children in their care. The Foundation donated diapers, baby formula, bathing soap, washing powder, sanitary pads and toilet paper and more to the centre. “The FirstRand Namibia Foundation believes in partnership and sustainable cooperation. It is my hope that more companies will come on board to help the children of Hope Village”, said Revonia Kahivere, CSI Manager of the FirstRand Namibia Foundation.

Marietjie de Klerk, Founder of Hope Village: “Hope Village is loving, caring home for orphans and vulnerable children infected or affected with HIV/Aids.  In these homes their basic needs for food, protection and accommodation are met, but also their needs for love, affection, and security. We endeavour to help each child to reach their full potential educationally, psychologically, emotionally, and physically. We would like to thank the FirstRand Namibia Foundation for their generous support”.
