PRIVAATSKOOL ELNATAN

Our school has existed since 1992 and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022.

We are a Christian Afrikaans Private School registered with the Ministry of Education of Namibia.

We are very proud of our large and established boarding facilities, where over 80% of our pupils live in four modern boarding houses. Pupils from all over the country make Elnatan their home, and we attract children from as far as Katima Mulilo, Swakopmund, Gobabis and Rosh Pinah.

Located among the 52 palm trees that have already reached the mature age of more than 115 years and are constantly fed by the inexhaustible artesian springs of Stampriet, a child could not go to school in more ideal conditions.

Mission:

The school will constantly do everything in its power to create an environment in which pupils can receive education according to Christian values and norms. The school accepts the HOLY SCRIPTURE as the only true guide for one’s life. The school will always endeavour to obtain the best trained and dedicated staff and also other experts to achieve this goal. The school strives in cooperation with other schools, persons, institutions, churches and the government in its pursuit of acquiring scientific equipment, expertise, socialization and funds for the overall formation of its pupils. The school strives to produce high-level manpower, equipped with the necessary knowledge, thinking, skills and attitudes to meet the demands of time and the country. The school also wants to be appropriately serviceable in its immediate environment and region, the wider community and, in particular, to its supporters and like-minded people.

Elnatan Private School provides, in collaboration with the parents’ household, an affordable Christian education of excellent quality in Afrikaans to the youth through the use of all affordable educational resources to the full development of his/her potential to the glory of God and to the benefit of his neighbour.
